CHIEF MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER

The Music Academy seeks a visionary Chief Marketing & Communications Officer to tell our unique story of artistic innovation and to drive revenue-generating strategies to support the organization’s Summer Festival and year-round programming. The CMCO manages a team (3 year-round and approximately 8 summer seasonal employees) overseeing print and digital marketing, ticketing, front of house operations, venue rentals, volunteers, communications and public relations. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success and growth, enthusiasm to innovate and lead, and passion for shaping the classical music industry to be more inclusive and engaging for audiences and young musicians.
MANAGER OF STUDENT SERVICES
Full-Time, Non-Exempt
The Music Academy seeks a Manager of Student Services (MSS) who is positive, forward-thinking, empathetic, and is a logistical dynamo. The Music Academy provides a transformative summer training experience for 140 exceptional musicians (fellows), ages 18-34, which encourages artistry, innovation, and community. This pivotal role facilitates the fellow experience throughout the recruitment, application, audition, and admission processes. The MSS helps promote a supportive culture that enriches the off-stage experience through residence life support and programming, with an emphasis on wellness.
FACILITIES OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Part-Time, Non-Exempt, multiple positions available
The Music Academy seeks dynamic team members to help support the daily operations and maintenance of our beautiful campus. The ideal candidate will be someone with a true passion for connecting with people of all ages – from children to seniors – as they will assist staff and visitors with various on-site needs, especially during the 8-week Summer Festival from June 5-August 7.

Responsible for selling and processing ticket orders, giving excellent customer service, maintaining efficient Ticket Office operations, and providing oversight to Ticket Office Associates. LEHRER VOCAL INSTITUTE STAGE MANAGER
Seasonal, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
June 19 through July 30
Position Responsibilities
Serve as Production Stage Manager for three Vocal presentations (5 performances total)
• Track staging, attendance, changes in schedule, props, costumes and scenic
• Produce daily rehearsal notes and performance reports. Produce status reports to designers and production team
• Create necessary running documents for the show crew
• Oversee two Assistant Stage Managers
• Compile calling score for all three productions
• Call performances
