Brad Moore has enjoyed recital partnerships with singers including Renée Fleming, Susan Graham, Sir Bryn Terfel, Ian Koziara, Ryan Speedo Green, Jamie Barton, Christine Goerke, Angela Meade, Eric Owens and Eric Cutler. He has been a piano soloist with orchestras including the National Symphony Orchestra and the Buffalo Philharmonic. His most recent recording is Silenced - Unsung Voices of the 20th Century, with Mr. Koziara for Cedille Records, featuring songs by Káprálova, Schreker, Ullmann, and Zemlinsky. Brad conducted the premieres of The House Without a Christmas Tree (Ricky Ian Gordon) and Some Light Emerges ( Laura Kaminsky) at the Houston Grand Opera, where he was Associate Music Director and Music Director of the HGO Studio. He has also been assistant conductor at the Salzburg Festival, Opéra National de Paris, Canadian Opera Company, and Los Angeles Opera, and is currently assistant conductor at the Metropolitan Opera.

Edward Parks

Grammy Award-winning baritone Edward Parks, a native of Indiana, Pennsylvania, holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and Yale University. A National Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, Parks trained at the Met’s Lindemann Young Artists Development Program, and was also awarded third prize in Placido Domingo’s Operalia Competition.
Highlights of the current season include his returns to the Metropolitan Opera, both in concert with famed Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli and as Schaunard in La bohème, and to Lyric Opera of Chicago, for A Night of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, a groundbreaking series of concerts with Smashing Pumpkin’s frontman Billy Corgan.
During the 2024-2025 season, Ed made his Houston Grand Opera debut as the painter Marcello in Puccini’s timeless La bohème, and returned to Detroit Opera to sing Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte in a radical new staging by Yuval Sharon. A frequent featured soloist on tour with Andrea Bocelli, he appeared in 16 concerts in arenas and major venues across the United States.

Kamala Sankaram

Praised as “one of the most exciting opera composers in the country” (The Washington Post), composer Kamala Sankaram moves freely between the worlds of experimental music and contemporary opera. Recent commissions include works for the Glimmerglass Festival, Washington National Opera, the PROTOTYPE Festival, and Creative Time, among others.
Known for her work pushing the boundaries of the operatic form, recent works include The Last Stand, a 10-hour opera created for the trees of Prospect Park, Brooklyn, Only You Will Recognize the Signal, a serial space opera performed live over the internet, Looking at You, a techno-noir featuring live data mining of the audience and a chorus of 25 singing tablet computers, all decisions will be made by consensus, a short absurdist opera performed live over Zoom, and The Parksville Murders, the world’s first virtual reality opera.
Kamala is the leader of Bombay Rickey, an operatic Bollywood surf ensemble whose accolades include two awards for Best Eclectic Album from the Independent Music Awards, the 2018 Mid-Atlantic touring grant, and appearances on WFMU and NPR.
Dr. Sankaram holds a PhD from the New School and is currently a member of the composition faculty at Mannes School of Music.
