Meaghan Heinrich
Meaghan Heinrich enjoys an eclectic career as a performer, music educator, lecturer, and consultant, fueled by a desire to make great music accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. She is on the faculty of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, where she teaches oboe, early childhood music, and chamber music. Through the Conservatory Connections program, she is also the elementary music teacher in three Milwaukee schools. A frequent collaborator with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Ms. Heinrich presents pre-concert lectures, performs for the ACE education series, and serves as a teaching artist for the MSO’s community partnership programs.
Ms. Heinrich holds degrees in oboe performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (BM) and Rice University (MM). She has previously held positions on the education staff of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and The Cleveland Orchestra, and spent four years (two as Co-Artistic Director) touring nationally with the multi-disciplinary ensemble Tales & Scales.
