Marta Hovhannisyan
SING! Choral Director
Sing! Choral Director
Marta Hovhannisyan is earning a master's degree in vocal performance at University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studies under Dr. Bayrakdarian. Prior to her studies at UCSB, Marta received her bachelor’s degree from California State University Northridge. During her studies, Marta has performed many recitals, concerts, and master classes, as well as received the Nancy Hooker scholarship for her talent and skills. She also works collaboratively in choirs, small quartets, and operas, both in and outside of school. During her undergraduate studies, Marta performed in four operas, including three leading roles. In the summer of 2019, she participated in the American Institution of Musical Studies (AIMS) program in Austria. He love for music and performing has grown throughout her studies and she is excited for what her future holds.
