Lorenzo Zapata
2021 Vocal Institute Fellow
LORENZO ZAPATA ('20) 23, born in Virginia Beach, Virginia is a master's degree student at University of Southern California studying with Rod Gilfrey. Appearances include Talpa in Il Tabarro and Dulcamara in L’elisir d’amore with Peabody Opera Theatre, and Golaud in Pelléas and Mélisande with USC Thornton Opera. Mr. Zapata received first prize in the Peabody Song Competition and has performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Bach in Baltimore.
