Keeheon Nam
2021 Clarinet Fellow
KEEHEON NAM ('20) 25, born in Suwon, South Korea, is currently pursuing his master's degree at Rice University Shepherd School of Music under the guidance of Richie Hawley. His performances range from dive bars in Minnesota to improvising music in Carnegie Hall. Keeheon is also a passionate teacher and was a chamber music coach at Vanderbilt’s Blair Academy and a Juilliard Morse Teaching Fellow.
Keeheon previously earned a master’s degree at The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Jon Manasse, where he also served as his faculty assistant, and attended the Blair School of music, where he was a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholar. Keeheon is an avid home cook, and is, unexpectedly, a ServSafe certified food safety manager.
