Joost Thesseling

Joost Thesseling is an investor with more than 30 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and private company investing. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SevenUnited Group, a Santa Barbara–based investment firm focused on investing in family and entrepreneur-owned companies and accelerating their growth. 

Prior to founding SevenUnited Group, Joost was a Partner at CI Capital Partners, a New York-based investment firm. Earlier in his career, he held roles in finance, strategic planning, and mergers & acquisitions at Engelhard Corporation. Joost began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised private equity firms and corporate buyers on mergers & acquisitions.

Joost has extensive corporate board experience and previously served on the board of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. Joost holds an MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
