Janey K. Campbell
Director of Individual Giving & Donor Relations
Janey K. Campbell is delighted to have joined the Music Academy of the West and the Santa Barbara community. This follows a very successful and personally fulfilling five years as Senior Major Gifts Officer at LA Opera. Ms. Campbell has spent most of her life in non-profit organizations, originally as a ballerina with the New York City Center Joffrey Ballet, under the name Janey Kawaguchi.
Ms. Campbell's career as a development professional began at the Culver City Education Foundation, which was followed by positions that demonstrate her commitment to education: Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences, Otis College of Art and Design, and The Willows Community School. Prior to her time at the Willows, Ms. Campbell was Director of Development and Interim Executive Director of Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County. Janey Campbell's passion for the performing arts, music, and education make her position at the Music Academy of the West a perfect match.
