Quinn Middleman
mezzo-soprano
Quinn holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University, and currently studies with Nova Thomas. She recently performed with Madison Opera, Opéra Louisiane, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Haymarket Opera, and Opera Iowa, covered roles for Des Moines Metro Opera. Quinn has also appeared with Chautauqua Opera, Chicago Opera Theater, Chicago Fringe Opera, Central City Opera, St Petersburg Opera, Tanglewood Music Center, Aspen Opera Center, and SongFest. She was an artist in residence with LYNX Project in Chicago, and a Resident Artist at Utah Opera, where she performed several roles and in concert. Quinn won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Wisconsin District, received third place in the Ziering-Conlon “Recovered Voices” competition, and won scholarships from the Musicians Club of Women and Evanston Music Club.
