Paige earned a bachelor's degree in vocal performance and opera and a certificate in musical theatre from Northwestern University. They have remained active in Chicago, Illinois, having served as Teaching Artist with the Lyric Opera and Associate Director with the Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company. With the Ouroboros Opera, they have directed notable operas such as Bluebeard’s Castle by Bartók and the Chicago premiere La Femme Bohème, the latter of which is a reimagining of Puccini's La bohème with the Valkyrie Orchestra. Most recently, they associate directed Ruddigore with the Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company and directed Okoye's Wet Dirt with the Thompson Street Opera Company.
