Angela Scates
oboe
Angela is earning her bachelor’s degree at The Juilliard School, studying with Elaine Douvas, as a recipient of the Gluck Community Service Fellowship. 2019 prizes include National YoungArts Foundation Competition Finalist in Classical Music and Semifinalist in the Presidential Scholar in the Arts Program. She was a featured soloist on "One Afternoon" from the album Espresso, recorded by Bob James, an American Grammy Award-winning jazz keyboardist, arranger, and record producer. The album was released on August 31st of 2018.
