Ty Johnson

Ty A. Johnson, producer, is perhaps known best as the executive producer and creator of Yuletide Celebration which is in its 33rd year of sold-out performances. Mr. Johnson is the also producer of Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Printing Partner’s Pops Series and the ISO film with orchestra series working with studios to successfully present the Harry Potter: In Concert series, The Star Wars trilogy, the world premiere of An American in Paris, among many others. He is a national consultant for orchestras and symphonic pops programming. His creation of the Symphonic Consortium has led to hundreds of performances of theatrical concert productions all over North America. Mr. Johnson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and did his graduate studies at the University of Illinois. Before focusing solely on concert work, Mr. Johnson primarily worked in musical theater production and held administrative positions at Starlight and Papermill Playhouse. Offstage, he is celebrating his 25th year of marriage to conductor Jack Everly. Ty Johnson is a bona fide Sci-Fi geek, wine enthusiast, fitness and hot yoga buff, and dog lover.
