Rumeng completed her master’s degree at the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Oleh Krysa, Qian Sheng, and Hyeri Choi and played in the Eastman Philharmonic Orchestra. Rumeng was named Winner of both the 2018 Idaho Falls Symphony Young Artist and 2016 Idaho State Civic Symphony Young Artist competitions.
