Kevin McBrien
Kevin McBrien is a Ph.D. candidate in musicology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His current research explores intersections between European émigrés and Los Angeles concert culture in the 1930s and 40s. An avid writer, Kevin has contributed annotations for the Aspen Music Festival and School, Music Academy of the West, and BBC Proms, and liner notes for releases by Chavdar Parashkevov, Natasha Kislenko, and Sung Chang. He also blogs about music at kevinmcbrien.com and is marginally active on Twitter @kevinmcbrien5.
