Carys Sutherland
horn
Carys is earning a bachelor's degree at The Juilliard School where she is a student of Julie Landsman as a recipient of a Kovner Fellowship. Carys was named winner of the 2020 U.S. Navy Band Young Artist Solo Competition. Carys serves as Principal Horn of Symphony in C and has recently performed with the New World Symphony and Princeton Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America from 2019-2020. At Juilliard, Carys is also a Teaching Fellow in the Music Advancement Program and a Gluck Community Engagement Fellow.
