Xiaojie Ji
tenor
Xiaojie is earning a DMA at Michigan State University where he studies with Richard Fracker and serves as a teaching assistant. While at University, he has performed the role of Fenton in Verdi's Falstaff. Previous performances with Manhattan School of Music include Basilio in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro and Mercury in Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld. He was a Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition Michigan district encouragement winner in 2022, and Washington district encouragement winner in 2021.
