Cameron Weger

Cameron Weger is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in vocal performance at the University of Texas at Austin studying with Cynthia Morrow. She is an active member of the Butler Opera Center’s undergraduate ensemble, performing in both main stage productions and numerous scenes. Recent scene performances include Olga in Eugene Onegin, and Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro. She has extensive experience of placing at the National Association of Teachers Singing (NATS) competition. Cameron is a proud alumna of the Houston Grand Opera’s Young Artist Vocal Academy, and she is thrilled to be attending the Music Academy’s Lehrer Vocal Institute this summer! She greatly looks forward to the experience, professional growth, and mentorship she will receive from the world-renowned teaching artists.
