Jordan Costa
2021 Vocal Institute Fellow
JORDAN COSTA ('20) 24, born in Port Chester, New York, is a graduate student at Yale School of Music, studying with Gerald Martin Moore. Jordan earned his master's degree from Eastman School of Music in 2020, where he participated as principal characters in productions of The Pirates of Penzance in collaboration with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (2016), L’Incoronazione di Poppea (2017), the world premiere of the newly re-orchestrated The Light in the Piazza (2018), and Don Giovanni (2019). Jordan collaborated with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra again this past season in Mother of Us All (2020). Jordan participated in the Music Academy of the West's production of Cold Mountain during the 2019 Summer Festival before returning to the Music Academy as a fellow for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. In September of 2021, Jordan will make his professional debut as Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore with Opera in Williamsburg.
