Met Live in HD at the Music Academy
The Music Academy has been striving to increase our own mission-aligned programs during our non-summer season, including our free Sing! youth choir and the Mariposa Series of fall concerts, while also providing campus accessibility to our community performing arts partners. This increase in activity, combined with the limitations of our county’s Conditional Use Permit, has limited the weekend availability of Hahn Hall. We also cannot meet the Metropolitan Opera’s preferred schedule to present a partial series.
Based on these factors, we will not be presenting the 2023-2024 Met Live in HD season.
The live broadcasts of Met Live in HD will be shown at the Metropolitan Metro 4 Theatre in downtown Santa Barbara.
