Tenor Nils Neubert maintains active careers as a performer, educator, and scholar in the United States and abroad. Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, he is based in New York City, where he teaches German diction at The Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the Mannes School of Music. He has taught at the Music Academy of the West since 2016, and also teaches at the International Academy of Music in Italy, and the Summit Music Festival in New York. He previously served on the faculties at William Paterson University, Kaufman Music Center, and the Music Conservatory of Westchester, as well as the Burgos International and Puigcerdà Music Festivals in Spain. He holds degrees from The Juilliard School (BM), Teachers College, Columbia University (MA), and the CUNY Graduate Center (DMA), and serves on the Board of Directors of NATS-NYC. He is married to pianist and pedagogue Yuri Kim.
